MAGNESIUM JAKE - CREMATING THE FUTURE

Location: Manchester, Connecticut, United States

Description:

MagJake prides itself on creating music that is equal parts melodic, aggressive, challenging, and full of energy for the listener. We are an unapologetic rock band begging for your consideration.

Biography:

Magnesium Jake were brought together to create and perform music they felt was missing from the local music scene. With heavy grooves, melodic hooks, and a passion for making you “feel” each note, Magnesium Jake is an uncompromising collection of musicians with the singular goal of becoming the best modern hard rock machine in New England.

After releasing their first full length disc entitled Magnesium Jake, which contained nine tracks of pure hard rock that featured “Talk Of The Town” which the band shot a video for, Magnesium Jake was featured on Hartford’s own WCCC “Homegrown” series. This helped open new doors all across Southern New England for the band and allow them to open up for national acts like Taproot, Alien Ant Farm, Operator, and Tantric.

After finishing a series of very high profile shows in New York City on the Gotham Rocks Showcase, Magnesium Jake has just recently completed and released a follow up EP entitled Cremating the Future. Fueled by such instant fan favorites like “Modulus Of Elasticity” and “Lovectomy”, this disc has been extremely well received both locally here in Connecticut, as well as throughout the country and across the globe, thanks to numerous feature spots on internet and independent FM radio stations.

Magnesium Jake has come a very long way in their short time as a group here in Southern New England. If you have the chance, you need to come see this band. They believe there is no one else out there playing what they do, the way they like to play it, and relish the opportunity to prove it to each and every one of the audience members one stage at a time.
